This is a nightstand I made that was inspired by works by George Nakashima and James Krenov. The woods are Sapele and Walnut and it is finished with a wiping gloss varnish. The joinery throughout is hand cut dovetails.

This is a queen sized platform type bed, with an Asian style influence. This bed also breaks down easily for moving, but is very solid and rigid when set up.
The bed is made from Sapele wood, which has a distinct reddish brown coloring, and is in the Mahogany family.
The bed is finish with an oil based polyurethane.
