This is a nightstand I made that was inspired by works by George Nakashima and James Krenov. The woods are Sapele and Walnut and it is finished with a wiping gloss varnish. The joinery throughout is hand cut dovetails.

Sapele Humidor
This is a humidor made from Sapele wood with Walnut trim, and lined with Spanish Cedar; the traditional way humidors were made. It is finished with several layers of polished lacquer and is very smooth to the touch.
The lid is friction fitted to the base, and has an excellent air/humidity seal, superior to humidors with hinged lids.
It will hold approximately 50 cigars.
